1. Fig, Goat Cheese, and Prosciutto Bites with Balsamic Glaze

This recipe is fantastic for showcasing the fresh fig’s natural sweetness without much interference. It’s quick, elegant, and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh figs, ripe but firm, stems removed
  • 4 oz soft goat cheese (chevre)
  • 6 thin slices of prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade by reducing balsamic vinegar)
  • Fresh basil leaves or a sprinkle of chopped pistachios for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Gently wash and pat dry the figs. Cut each fig in half lengthwise.
  2. Spread about a teaspoon of goat cheese onto the cut side of each fig half.
